    Along with friends, 18650.UK was launched in December 2016 on the back of developments with a longstanding supplier relationship with another business and is aimed squarely at revolutionising the way businesses obtain the most commonly used cylindrical cells in the industry, finishing its first year of trading well ahead of an ambitious growth plan having taken on some fantastic high profile client accounts in its first few months of operating. It maintains a solid commitment to be the cheapest and fastest supplier of wholesale lithium cylindrical cells in the UK. In its second year of trading, combining my now more broad knowledge of global cell markets, automotive engineering background and consultative and "solution to the problem" sales approach, 18650.UK began supplying to and consulting on behalf of prototype/domestic electric vehicle manufacturers (the largest users of these products), personal transport businesses, military contractors, the solar/PV industry and many others. During this period, we also began work with several prestigious Universities, helping to develop and revolutionise energy recovery and storage solutions for the future. Now in its third year of operation we're seeking to strengthen all areas of the business while taking an active interest and applying further focus to both OEM and DIY grid-tie/off-grid home energy generation/recovery and storage. As a small business in a very large market, my day to day activities are varied, wide ranging and with impact across the entire business and the very market it serves. I deal with all aspects of recruitment, internal HR function, procurement, forecasting, process creation and enablement, product and production workflow design, the entire sales and account management cycle from first contact to after-sales support - all while generating and analysing the data i need to keep a keen eye on budget, cashflow and business profitability.

    I started at CV-Library selling Recruitment Advertising and CV Database Access into Corporate businesses at board/CEO level. I moved over to the Recruitment Agency team after 12 months, and it was while on this team I covered the incoming sales with the Sales Manager for 6 months when a position became available.     I pushed myself to advance through a 4 year apprenticeship at Basingstoke College of Technology in just under 2 years earning Distinctions in all 43 exams taken in order to secure myself a place on the Honda Apprenticeship program and became fully qualified as Diagnostic Vehicle Technician while still working at the main dealer. Having worked tirelessly, mainly carrying out routine maintenance, diagnosis and repair of faults and PDI work for two years, I had quickly discovered that while my passion still lies in vehicles, main dealer service departments and the limited opportunities they present wasn't the direction I had anticipated and the long term remuneration wasn't in line with my aspirations and local property prices.
