Part of the global Management Information Systems organisation reporting to the head of MIS ANZ. I was responsible for the full project lifecycle from preparation of business cases, scope and project management plans through to project delivery and post implementation handover. I was responsible for management and control of risks, issues and costs. I had ultimate responsibility for ensuring that the project objectives are met so that the business benefits can be realised. My role included management of project resources including local and remote project team members and team leadership of a locally based team of 3 business analysts and developers plus additional contract resources.

Manager of the Small Business Systems team, responsible for the delivery and support of strategic IT solutions to internal clients. This included the project management of the development of strategic IT solutions for areas of the business which fall outside the scope of the core business systems. This included the preparation of business cases and the management of development budgets and the full development lifecycle. In addition I was also responsible for the management of a number of projects outside the scope of Small Business Systems.Management of the delivery and support of IT systems to a start up digital TV channel operated by a subsidiary of Channel Four. This included responsibility for: the transmission critical systems around which the live show operated; communications and hardware required to delivery transmission critical systems; provision of hardware and software to office staff; management of support and development personnel; liaising with technical managers at the studios to ensure our systems worked within their framework; liaising with the Managing Director and other board members (of the subsidiary) to ensure that their requirements were being met; identifying and tracking risks; delivery of enhancements to systems; managing the IT budget for the project.

Responsible for development and delivery of strategic IT solutions to a wide variety of clients across Channel Four. This covered the full lifecycle from business analysis, documenting requirement specifications through to development, testing, delivery and support of the required system.Development of applications in C# .net/VB 6/MS SQL 2000/Access 2000 and VBA solutions from functional specifications.
