• Lead and develop the Talent Acquisition department for Pollo Tropical (134 locations) and Fiesta Restaurant Group comprising of field and corporate recruitment.• Lead and develop the Corporate HR department for Pollo Tropical (134 locations) and Fiesta Restaurant Group to ensure compliance with HR laws & regulations and implementation of HR initiatives to support the day-to-day HR needs of the organization.• Strategize with executive leadership on designing and implementing a multi-faceted talent strategy to best address immediate and future business needs; execute sourcing initiatives to build a proactive pipeline of high caliber, diverse, and well-qualified talent, and identify most qualified candidates through various screen and assessment methodologies.• Provide key recruitment metrics including average time to fill, application lifecycle, ROI on recruitment initiatives, hires per month, and manager response time.• Analyze people metrics including turnover and retention, company wage and hour data, and employee satisfaction reports to identify and strategize opportunities within the organization. • Organize and oversee the company's annual performance and merit review process, including but not limited to: creation of performance worksheets, providing guidance to managers on identifying performance opportunities, and ensuring execution of the process.• Maintain expert knowledge of functional specialty by staying abreast of best practices, legal developments, emerging trends, technological advancements and benchmark comparisons.• Maintain and manage current HR system (Workday) and ensure data integrity, including but not limited to: work with executive leadership to create, update, and oversee workflows for the system to allow implementation of timely updates as needed.
