The role is a part of the Policy, Influencing, Campaign and Communication team. Being a communication coordinator for more than 3 years, I contributed in numerous campaign with high quality communication products, such as case stories, photos, annual reports, newsletters/newsflash, blogs, videos. During the service period I prepared more than 100 situation reports for Rohingya response, multiple cyclone response, overview documents, donor reports. While working with the global communication team of Oxfam I collected photos, videos and interviews which were used in Oxfam’s different global platforms. In last 3 years, I hosted more than 20 high profile field visit including government representatives, donors, ambassadors, foreign parliament members, ministers and celebrities. I was also responsible for ensuring Oxfam brand visibility aligned with the donor visibility requirement. While doing this, I produced hundreds of IEC, BCC materials to promote program based messages among the community.

Beside the online news preparation I did the sports page make up for the daily print edition which require news design and editing skill. BYLC’s youth leadership programs are designed to develop personal and professional leadership skill among the youth from different age, education and socio-economic background. As a part of leadership teaching team I facilitated the learing of core leadership concepets for more than 800 students in 10 different programs. I also worked as a instructor where I developed leadership concepts for 42 high-school students where they learned about adaptive leadership, team building, public speaking, project planning and activation. Beside conducting classes I also wrote several newspaper articles, blogs, created digital media contents featuring leadership concepts and ideas.

Contributed with my team in rebranding of the organization which includes, website development, creative content generation, blog writing etc. Translated adaptive leadership content from various international journals, books and articles. Wrote press releases and managed media for the organization on different programs and events.

• Advised the UN Country Team on the strategic opportunities and necessary actions for addressing adolescent and youth issues.• Conducted a survey and research on SRHR Framework and youth’s opinion regarding diseases transmitted sexually, attitude towards menstruation and overall condition of reproductive health services. The research was conducted as a part of UN Theme Group working under UNFPA and was later incorporated in their annual publication.• Participated in training programs focused on research methodology and capacity development workshops under UN Bangladesh.• Participated in dialogues with national and international stakeholders regarding youth development and their requirement focusing on the National Youth Policy.

• Managed the alumni association of 2200 graduates from different leadership training programs of Bangladesh Youth Leadership Center (BYLC).• Organized more than 20 events and BGN National Election 2016 where the graduates engaged themselves for their personal, professional skill development and improving their networking skills.• Conducted sessions on various topics for the executives and other graduates. • Signed more than 6 MoUs with partner organizations for the development of BGN.• Increased the membership of BGN to almost 200%.
