Brittany Noelle is a Material Development and Innovation at TravisMathew Apparel. She possess expertise in textiles, weaving, textile design, dyeing, apparel and 20 more skills. Colleagues describe her as "Brittany’s “ Textile, Repair and Zero Waste Concepts” workshop has been a valuable part of a course I’ve taught at California College of the Arts for 6 years. It is an eye-opening introduction to the life and impact of disposable materials. In sharing her own story and research, she raises consciousness about our disposable culture and its impacts on the ecosystem. She highlights ways in which we can become more aware of objects we interact with every day. She makes the material fun and accessible, emphasizing not only the problems, but also companies in the fashion industry that are developing innovative programs to extend the life of their products through repair and upcycling damaged items. Brittany brings a wealth of knowledge from her extensive experience in the fashion industry as well as her passion for learning about ways in our world could move towards Zero Waste.
