Graduated with honors from the Florida Institute of Technology with a BS in Aviation Management/Flight Technology in 1989. Throughout the past three decades, I have devoted my life to aviation, focusing on pilot and aircraft safety.Within my three decades of experience, I have instructed pilots in all phases of their flight training, from primary flights to obtaining their ATP and type ratings. Being an instructor has given me a unique perspective on pilot and aircraft safety.I began my career in 1989 at one of the world's most prestigious airlines and have been there ever since. Throughout the past 30 years, I have flown many types of small and large aircraft into 6 continents and hundreds of destinations. These aircraft's range in maximum gross weight from 130,000 lbs to over 860,000 lbs, with a capability of flying of over 7,500 miles without stopping.I currently have over 24.000 hours in the heavy commercial aircraft and I am now flying the Boeing 777 as a Captain and Line Check Airman. My other ratings include Flight Engineer and FAA Certified Dispatcher. I also hold the following flight instructor ratings: CFI, CFII, and MEI. I have also been working at Jets.com for the past 7 years over seeing their safety programs as their Chief Safety Officer.
