I love solving problems. Every day I work with great people that have problems to solve, and I get to figure out how to help. As a Solution Architect I listen to the challenges my customers need to solve and help design a solution.I've worn many hats in the technology world. I started in desktop support and moved through IT management in small to medium businesses. One day, I attended a product launch event where a leader from a local large enterprise talked about how they were revolutionizing their environment using said product. I sat in the audience wondering how I could move the large enterprise and get involved. Within 9 months I was working for that very company on the same team the leader had described.I worked at several large enterprises focusing on virtualization, software defined networking, cloud and security. In these roles I worked with many vendors imagined what it would be like to build solutions for many companies instead of just one. I decided to find out and moved from being a customer to a vendor and I've never looked back.Throughout this journey I've learned a few things. You need to be comfortable reinventing yourself. If you see something you want to do, go for it. The worse that can happen is it doesn't work out the first time. But then you try again. Another thing I learned is you can never stop learning. I constantly want to be better tomorrow than I was today.
