As part of my partnership in Countess Publicists, I have undertaken several senior maternity and fixed term cover contracts for national charities and regional charities. • Responsible for the charity's development including fundraising from corporate partnerships, high net worth individuals, major gifts, community initiatives, campaigns, individual giving, trusts and foundations, and events.• Overseeing media liaison, public relations, celebrity support and stewardship.

•Took up the newly created position of Head of Fundraising (Development) on a fixed term contract to create a long-term sustainability strategy.•Developed the charity’s profile and long-term sustainability potential through diverse income streams including all aspects of fundraising alongside community initiatives, council liaison, educational institution partnerships, celebrity ambassadors, social media, charity shop expansion and capital project site development.

I was appointed with TOTAL responsibility for all aspects of the organisation including.Individual and corporate donations, • membership schemes, fundraising events, sponsorship• budgeting, administration• marketing, • volunteers• media communication and public relations, • company liaison.Due to my overall success, I was nominated and elected “Mancunian of the Year” 1994 in recognition of my services to Manchester and its surrounding community, launched in 1967, - past recipients as L S Lowry, Sir Matt Busby, Gill Thomson, and Sir Bernard Lovell. In recognition of my work was invited to the Royal Garden Party.

Responsible to the ten councils/boroughs of Greater Manchester to promote sport and leisure for the benefit of able bodied and young people with disabilities in the region, climaxing in an annual event, larger than the Commonwealth Games, for a sporting weekend with the President, The Duke of Westminster.I was totally responsible for: -Promotion budgeting financing, recruitment, training, volunteers, public relations, media communications, council liaison, sponsorship, marketing and all related matters.
