I retired as Sr. Vice President of Marketing at Oriental Trading Company, Inc. in 2019. I have over 20 years experience in Direct-to-Consumer marketing roles at Oriental Trading, Lands’ End, and JC Whitney. Responsibilities included Catalog Marketing and Digital Marketing, including Marketing Attribution, Merchandising including new category additions, Creative Services including print and paper procurement, and Market Research including Customer Engagement research. I was part of three unique leadership teams that grew the business by nearly 9X from 1999 to 2019, transitioning from being entrepreneur-owned, to private equity, to its current ownership by Berkshire Hathaway. I was on the Board of Essential Pregnancy Services (EPS) from 2017-2023. In May 2019 I was asked by the Board of EPS to fill in as Interim Executive Director while EPS pursued a permanent Executive Director.I served as Interim President of Mount Michael Benedictine during a leadership transition from June 2011 to January 2012. I was also on their School Board from 2009 to 2017.I am from Omaha and graduated from The University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1985 with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree.Married for over 30 years, three children and eight grandchildren. My wife and I are members of St. Stephen The Martyr parish, where we participate in various parish ministries.
