See Link:-https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:6494957327869837312/British Basketball has now become the 2nd most played UK sport behind Football.Considerable sadness that I post to say that my 4.5 years with British Basketball League (BBL) has come to an end.I was invited to become the Commercial Director by the BBL in 2016 to monetize the League’s commercial assets and obtain greater media exposure. During this time I have brought a host of new partners into the League, secured some great contracts amounting to over £3.5 million in cash and many hundreds of thousand pounds worth of product, which has been of great benefit to the clubs and the League. I also succeeded in getting basketball back on terrestrial TV, as well as on OTT free-to-air platforms.I’ve had a very rewarding four and a half years working for The BBL and WBBL, but I’m looking forward to my next exciting challenge and where it will take me.
