With over 40 years of experience in the Financial Services industry, after a brief retirement, Bob has joined the team at The Personal Coach. The Personal Coach has a unique offering in that they commit to meeting and mentoring financial advisors and their teams in their own locations. The Personal Coach team uses a proven process to provide customized one-on-one business coaching for financial advisors and their teams to drive results and realize confidence, focus and freedom.Bob has a strong background in helping advisors in group benefits. His ability to understand a wide spectrum of advisors and their different business models and approach has been critical in his career.Bob also has a passion for community service and currently serves as an Executive in Residence with Capacity Canada, an organization that is mainly focused on governance in the not-for-profit sector. In addition, Bob is a volunteer and Chair of the Media Centre for the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic and serves on the management committee for the Hockey Helps the Homeless event in Kitchener Waterloo. Bob reads and plays golf and has been known to savor a glass of fine red wine. His wife Pat and their two grown children are the pride of his life and his biggest support team and he tries to spend as much time with them as possible.
