During this first half of my career I gained experiences in a wide variety of areas, beginning with working as a part time bank teller in my senior year of high school and throughout my 4 years of college at Ellis Bank (a predecessor bank to Bank of America) . Upon graduation from USF I accepted a position as a bank auditor for Ellis Bank Corporation. In this role I work with other teammates to preform bank audits on operations and credit quality of existing banks and acquired banks. After 2 years in this role I became one of two team leaders of the Audit team and remained in leadership positions for all but 1 year the rest of my career. When then NCNB (predecessor to BAC) acquired Ellis Bank Corp. I moved to Finance to assist in the financial consolidation to the two banking corporations in FL. Once the consolidation was complete I completed commercial credit training and began an extend period of time in Commercial and Small Business banking in Central Florida, lending to companies with sales up to $100 million dollars. The last 5 years of this extended part of my career I managed banking center teams in Central Florida, where the teams delivered financial solutions for consumers and small business.
