Goodbye Transfield Services. (A great company to work for!)I am continuing my Electrical and Instrumentation maintenance and upgrade work at the BMA Saraji wash plant with the new contractor "Main People" (G&S).Getting a good balance between expense and reliability in the plant's instrumentation at Saraji now.Developing simplified instrumentation setup procedures for fast breakdown recovery.Involved with "Project Arrow" workshops to align the S.O.P.'s across BMA as well, a big job but it will result in a great result when finished.

Back to a 4/3 DS roster which is great for family time with my 7yo.Been repairing and upgrading the instrumentation system at the BMA Saraji wash-plant now for some months and seem to be learning more and more about instrumentation and control each week. Starting to see some real progress for my efforts as well.

(MIBC and Diesel) Maintain and repair High Voltage switching systems at Gregory, Dre24, field, and Crinum. Authorised HV Switching Coordinator, Switching Officer, and Permit Recipient. Maintain instrumentation and Siemens PCS7 PLC. Isolations and permits for current permit to work system. Permit Holder. Member of the site Emergency Response Team. Training and assessment of site personnel. (Electrical and machinery) Site electrical familiarisation Trainer and assessment of electrical personnel and H.V. personnel priorto EEM authorisation. Peer review of external training provider's courses for EEM. Participate in the development and review of safe work systems. Operate machinery on-site such as light/ medium/ heavy Vehicle, EWP and Forklifts. Develop training / assessment procedures for site. Maintain Site 2-way radio repeater system and attend repeater breakdowns. Dragline repair, maintenance and isolation. Worked as a contractor for Silcar and then Enwise Electrical at Gregory mine.Duties mainly shift Electrician at the CHPP, but also some field work on DRE24 Dragline,Training of electrical team on site systems and relevant machinery (EWP, Forklift etc)High Voltage switching for access and Isolation.
