Ring Power is a Caterpillar Equipment dealer for central and northern Florida. I manage Ring Power’s Development, Business Intelligence, and Business Systems Analyst teams.

ABCOA provides Used Auto Pricing Guides, Accounting and Dealer Management Systems for Buy Here Pay Here Auto dealerships and the Sub Prime lending industry. The front ends for the solutions I developed used VB.NET, ASP.NET, VB6, and VBA, along with a number of third party controls. These solutions used SQL Server 2005 Express, SQL Server 2000, and MS Access 2003 for the database backend. My development responsibilities included Level of Effort statements, database design, application design, solution development, solution release, and maintenance. I regularly develop enhancements for existing products such as a VIN decoding web service, a Biometric fingerprint reader for application authentication, and a PDF laser form utility to allow users to map PDF form fields to our application’s database. I worked directly with new and existing customers in order to integrate their old systems or enhance their existing ones with custom solutions. I was the lead programmer and project leader for a new web based Used Auto Pricing guide which was built using a VB.NET/ASP.NET front end and a SQL 2000 database on the backend. It utilized Stored Procedures, DTS packages, Windows Services, Web Services, AJAX, and Data Dynamics Active Reports. I also developed a mobile component for the servicet using VB.NET and AppForge’s Crossfire for the front end and Sybase’s SQL Anywhere as the database.

Commonwealth Benefit Plan provided back end marketing solutions for a number of private marketing companies. These solutions include management of client’s customer base, credit card transaction processing(MasterCard/Visa/Discover/Amex payments, refunds, chargebacks, and ticket retrievals), order fulfillment, and order reconciliation. These solutions are developed using Visual Basic, Perl, ASP, PHP, SQL Server, Access, and Crystal Reports. My development responsibilities included Scope of Work statements, Level of Effort statements, database design, solution development and maintenance. I was the project leader for phase one of Elephant Pay which was our own in-house credit card processing solution.

Identix provided Law Enforcement Solutions Software for both Federal and State agencies. These applications included Arrest Booking Systems and Criminal Investigation Case Management Systems, which incorporate Facial Recognition, Fingerprint Biometrics and Imaging Software. These applications were developed using VB.NET, Visual Basic 5.0/6.0 and third party controls. These applications were able to interface with both MS SQL Server 2000 and Oracle. My responsibilities included management of client base, software maintenance, product documentation, development of product enhancements and providing training in the use of new and existing software applications to both customers and Identix support personnel. I also developed Scope of work and Level of Efforts for enhancements to existing applications.
