Researched, designed and delivered training for Sales and Sales Management, Merchandisers, Customer Service, and Operations Managers for a Fortune 100 company for the Western United States. Organized, scheduled and trained more than 200 presenters involved in all programs. Developed and maintained training budgets annually, maintained up-to-date and accurate record of all expenses, invoiced operating companies for expenses, and contained costs. Sourced and negotiated training locations travel and supplies. Worked with individual operating companies to further develop their in-house training and ensure that candidates were prepared to benefit from attending an advanced training program. Continually evaluated, developed, and enhanced training curriculum to meet operating company and the Region's needs. Implemented additional training and development programs as directed by the Western Region Presidents. Responsible for all entry level and advanced sales training including a 8 week orientation/training class, continuing career education, trade show seminars, Train the Trainer programs for sales management and merchandisers, and coordination with vendor/manufacturer community and Marketing Department to insure consistency and maximum impact instruction methods. Sales force included 100+ Marketing Associates, 18 District Sales Managers, and 12 Merchandiser/Specialists.
