Robert Rees is a scholar, university professor, university administrator, humanitarian, and poet. He has taught at UCLA, UC Berkeley, UC Santa Cruz and the University of Wisconsin. Currently he is Visiting Professor and Director of Mormon Studies at Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley. He served as Assistant Dean of Fine Arts at UCLA where he was also Director of Arts and Humanities in Continuing Education and Director of the UCLA-Cambridge and the UCLA Royal College of Arts and Royal College of Music Programs. He was a Fulbright Professor of American Studies in the Baltic States and was the Director of Education and Humanities at the Institute of HeartMath. He is the co-founder and current Vice-president of the Liahona Children's Foundation, a non-profit addressing children's malnutrition in the developing world.
