CurrentDesign and implement web application solutions in response to the needs of Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) implementations for 8 state clients; most recently the state of Georgia. Utilize my knowledge of our proprietary architectural framework in order to ensure that solutions are consistent with regard to both web interface standards and established standards of workflow. Analyze potential enhancements and prepare recommendations for management and clients based on independent assessments of performance, stability, systems management, and maintainability. Implement information security technologies and ensure compliance with HIPAA and standard business practices. Deliver escalated technical support and maintain the production systems and service level agreement (SLA). Coordinate the efforts of technical support staff and mentor junior developers.Led the initiative to migrate security of the Georgia Medicaid (GAMMIS) Web Portal from ADFS 1.x to a Claims-Aware ADFS 2.0 solution using Microsoft Windows Identity Foundation classes.Identified web application functionality that was a duplication of effort already implemented in an existing business process system. Designed and implemented a solution that eliminated complex web application logic that was also prone to frequent business rules changes so that it leveraged existing rules engine functionality. This made it possible for the GAMMIS Web Portal to benefit from business rules changes without the risks and implementation latency associated source code modifications.Designed and implemented functionality in support of initiatives for reducing the labor overhead and quality issues associated with the manual processing of paper requests for administrative updates submitted by Medicaid service providers. The new solution allows providers to submit the requests electronically via the GAMMIS Web Portal.
