Responsible for the product development, sales and marketing of this worsted wool apparel and fabric manufacturer based in New Delhi India. Established the office presence and business in the United States Men’s market selling suits, sport coats and trousers. Successfully reaching a peak of $30 million by producing and selling to the major US retailers directly, major US brands and private label manufacturers. Duties also included the establishment of staff and sales force employing agents. Also coordinated the full package sales of fabric with other Indian manufacturers outside the Birla capabilities.

Responsible for the overall management of the sales and product development teams for this US based textile fabrics manufacturer. Duties included the management of a 20 person sales team and 5 person product development team. Successfully managed the increase of sales by 36% over 5 years to $190 million and increased each of the regional sales office personnel by 50% to accommodate the increase in sales volume and expansion of new customers. Successfully instituted a new sales compensation plan that was main ingredient in achieving sales growth. Selected by senior management to participate and/or manage special projects. Successfully started an outsourcing business of non in house products sourcing from India.
