Mr. Scribner has over 26 years experience in senior leadership roles in the office products industry and 10 years experience in the consumer packaged goods and grocery products industries. From 2003 to 2008 he was President/CEO of ActionEmco a wholesale distribution buisness owned by a private equity firm. At present Mr. Scribner manages his own business in the tourism industry. From 2000 to 2001 he was president of SP Richards the second largest wholesale distributor of office products and a division of Genuine parts Corp., where he increased revenues and profits by focusing on the more profitable customer segments. Between 1994 and 1999, Mr. Scribner was President/CEO of Esselte Office Products a global manufacturer where he led the turnaround of the US business, acquired or divested 18 companies and prepared the company for an IPO. Prior to that Mr. Scribner was Vice President and General Manager of Hunt Manufacturing’s Office Division for 10 years. At Esselte and Hunt Mr. Scribner worked extensively in Europe, living in London as CEO of Esselte. He has also served in several leadership positions in industry associations including Wholesale Stationers Association, National Office Products Association, and Office Products Manufacturers Association among others. He currently serves on the board of the Passeneger Vessel Association and the Legislative Committee of the PVA. Mr. Scribner holds a BS in finance and an MBA in marketing from the University of Maine.Specialties: Finance, marketing and general management with a strong background in mergers/acquisitions, turn-around and strategic planning.
