Bob Scribner is a I’m a driven entrepreneur. I’m building my business and I’m interested in communicating with like minded entrepreneurs. at Scribner Pest and Wildlife Control. At that time I was a Production Manager at Aramark and had interacted with Bob from that position. He convinced me that I had higher potential and broadening my horizons to include the "service" side of our business would pay dividends in my future. He was correct, I worked under his leadership for several years until he was promoted to General Manager and was ultimatly relocated. In that timeframe I became the District Manager of the Year in our Eastern Region. This was attributable to Bob's training and mentoring of not only myself but his whole Disrict Manager staff at that time. Once he moved to Boston Billiards after leaving Aramark, Bob showed his versatility by being equally as successfull. Bob would be a tremedous asset to any company and he has my utmost respect and confidence. We held our first event there in October 2007 followed by another in October 2008. Both events were highly successful and this was due, in large part, to Bob’s direct involvement. This partnership between the university and The Boston Billiard Club lead to Bob volunteering to serve on the WCSU Alumni Association Board of Directors, which he formally joined in April 2008. Bob is an individual who possesses great organization, communication and management skills. He has served the Alumni Board in a variety of ways. Along with volunteering his time at alumni sponsored events, he has lent the organization his professional expertise by negotiating contracts with vendors and voting on critical board matters. He is always willing to lend a hand in any way that is asked of him and, because of his many contacts, has helped us connect with many alumni who work and reside in the greater Danbury area. Finally, Bob works well with, and is very well liked by, his WestConn colleagues and has gained great respect by the WestConn administration including university President Dr. James W. Schmotter and Vice President for Institutional Advancement Dr. Koryoe Anim-Wright.
