As IT innovation manager for Schwan, responsible for new technology integration, enterprise architecture, and information security. As a member of the CIO staff, partnered with colleagues to set the strategy and direction for Information Services. • New technology integration entails the bringing together new technologies to solve business problems across all divisions of The Schwan Food Company. Technology areas included remote computing (wireless and internet based), early Microsoft .Net implementer, and team collaboration utilizing Microsoft Share Point technology.• Created an RFID test lab as part of a cross business team evaluating the technology.• Enterprise architecture encompassed managing the development, review and implementation of long range technology architecture plans for all business units of The Schwan Food Company.
