Bob has more than 50 years of public accounting and consulting experience that includes accounting, auditing, tax services and business consulting. He was a partner with Coopers in Lybrand (now PWC). Later served in as a consulting partner leading the west coast Human Capital practice based in Los Angeles. Prior to retiring in 2007 Bob served in various industry marketing roles including Human Capital, Federal and United Nations. After retirement he started a CPA firm in Cashiers NCHe sold his practice in 2019 which provided tax, accounting and consulting services as a CPA focusing on businesses, select individual tax clients and not for profit organizations in the Southeastern US.His NC CPA license is currently active.His has also retired from local community service boards which included Leadership Cashiers, Vision Cashiers (visioncashiers.com), Village Green (Finance Committee).During his career Bob was active in many community and non profit organizations including board and leadership positions with Goodwill Industries-Suncoast, Goodwill Industries of America, Santa Monica Hospital Foundation,St. Francis Episcopal Church of Potomac, Maryland and The Church of the Good Shepherd, Cashiers NC, The Friends of The Albert Carlton-Cashiers Library, Rotary Club of Cashiers Valley, The Cashiers Valley Preschool, Cashiers Cares, Inc, Cashiers Village Council,The Country Club of Sapphire Valley, The Church of the Good Shepherd (Vestry and Endowment Committee), Leadership Cashiers and Vision Cashiers Inc.He graduated from the University of South Florida and has attended post graduate programs including the advanced management studies program at Harvard Business School.
