Wholly responsible for multiple projects including the deployment of 6,000 PC’s, printers and related software across three PCT’s within Berkshire in both the corporate and clinical environments. Ensuring that all works are carried out within Prince and ITIL parameters and providing robust and thorough Risk and Change Management analysis. Responsible for the employment, induction and training (at all levels inc. TCP/IP networking, hardware and specialist software installs) a team of 16 contracting staff for the duration of deployments. Authoring of written scripts and HTML based help files for contracted deployment and 2nd/3rd line full time staff.Complete control over scheduling of equipment and staff to provide steady work streams and continuity for contractors and end users alike. This involved budgetary controls with regard to contractors and equipment allowing projects to complete both on time and within budget.Working and practical use of Zenworks, Win XP/Vista/7, Win Servers @ Admin Level, Clinical & Corporate software inc. Vision, EMIS, EMIS Web, Synergy, DocMan, PACS, RIS, JAC, Office Pro Suite, AD and Blackberry connectivity. Daily contact with PCT and Clinical management to ensure potential problems were resolved in advance where possible.
