Joined Pennsylvania Gunsmith School, PGS, as an assistant instructor in 1975 after attending and completing simultaneous studies at Robert Morris University and Pennsylvania Gunsmith School. Shortly thereafter, was appointed as a fully tenured instructor. My enthusiasm and dedication to Gunsmithing and PGS has quickly catapulted me to Assistant Director, Director, Vice-President and President. Am instrumental in quickly bringing new and innovative concepts into the classroom and work closely with the Program Advisory Committee, employers and individual Gunsmiths to ensure that the training program meets the occupational demands. Have been an adjunct instructor for the Central Training Academy, Department of Energy, located at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Hosted U.S. and Pennsylvania Congressional legislators, local council members, police and fire fighters, high schools and civic organizations to the school. Provide maintenance to duty weapons to Federal, State and local law enforcement agencies at no charge.Actively engaged in Federal and State legislation for accountability in public and private vocational and collegiate education.My vision for the school is that each student is impacted in such a way that they maximize their individual learning potential and become the kind of Gunsmith they aspire to be.Joined the Dale Carnegie Instructional Training staff in 1987 and subsequently was asked to train new instructional talent. Have had over 2000 participants in classes. Also provided customized training seminars for corporations wishing to motivate and inspire their staff.
