About Bob Voss

My current role is Distinguished Engineer, Panduit Corporate Research and Development, located at the Jack E. Caveney Innovation Center. My practice areas are Industrial Automation, Building Automation and the Internet of Things. My Panduit responsibilities include serving as technology focal for strategic alliances and partnerships, future looking research, executive support research and contribution to Panduit’s participation in CPwE (Converged Plant wide Ethernet) reference architecture. I chair the ODVA EtherNet/IP Physical Layer SIG. I also chair the Ethernet Alliance Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) subcommittee. In addition, I represent Panduit before several standards development organizations including, IEEE 802.3, TIA TR42, TR60, IIC, IEC (via USNC) and NEMA.
