In addition to program management, working in a small company has afforded me the opportunity to swim outside my lane and take on new challenges to include facility security officer, property management, quality assurance, business development, marketing and sales. With a negligible advertising budget I have sought out new, innovative and inexpensive means to bring attention to APIC's technical accomplishments and high performance products. LinkedIn has become a key tool for targeted advertising and identifying business points of contact. As a result, APIC's website traffic has increased over 400% and (more importantly) sales revenues have doubled.

Supported the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) as a Senior Engineer, Military Technical Expert and assistant program manager. I have worked on a dozen different technology development programs primarily in the areas of communications, networks, and surveillance and reconnaissance systems. I have been involved in every stage of program development from early studies and concept exploration through development and testing to demonstration and transition. I have been intricately involved in every aspect of these programs to include budgeting and program execution; monitoring technical progress and; transition planning and coordination with the Services, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff and Combatant Commands.

During this period I worked side by side with three different Program Managers overseeing the planning, coordination and execution of their multiple technology development programs and studies.

Final leadership position as Deputy Director, Information Operations in the Office of the Secretary of Defense. My 20 year Army career included several positions and commands of increasing responsibility in combat arms (2nd Armored Division and the 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment) and the Army Acquisition Corps. My Army acquisition experience includes 2 years as a successful program manager in the Army Space Program Office; 4 years in the Office of the Secretary of Defense overseeing Service development programs in computer network operations (offensive and defensive); 2 years as the M1A1 Abrams Tank Fielding Team Chief and 1 year Training with Industry as Deputy PM at Northrop Grumman.
