Float pool CNA that floated to all units, across both campuses, including CCU, OR, and ED. Provided nursing assistance and self-care activities for 8-10 assigned acute patients per shift. Collaborated effectively with interdisciplinary team to carry out nursing orders within the CNA scope of practice. Obtained and documented vital signs, intake and output, and promptly notified RN of critical patient changes.

Full time CNA on cardiac telemetry unit, provided nursing assistance and self-care activities for 8-10 assigned acute patients per shift. Collaborated effectively with interdisciplinary team to carry out nursing orders within the CNA scope of practice. Obtained and documented vital signs, intake and output, and promptly notified RN of critical patient changes.

Completed AORN's Periop 101 program and advocated for surgical patients during the intraoperative period. Obtained patient medical history, assessed readiness for surgery, ensured consents and appropriate site marking were completed, ensured safe patient positioning according to surgery need, ensured operative site was prepped in a sterile manner. Collaborated with surgical team to ensure safety for patients.
