Areas of responsibility: Health & Safety, Quality Assurance, Project Management, Service Delivery, Communication and Information Technology (CIT), Facility Management, Human Resources.Attending Board level planning meetings to ensure continued growth for the company.Directing senior managers to ensure their priorities are in line with the company strategies.Daily management of Health & Safety issues to ensure that the company works safely, and protects its customers, suppliers, staff and the public from potential hazardsImplementation and promotion of a “zero” target for accidents and incidents from Board level to shop floor.Ensure that the company maintains recognition for meeting prestigious industry safety standards including SafeContractor and CHAS (Contractors Health And Safety) schemesEnsuring the company maintains its ISO9001:2008 Quality Assurance certification (Instrumental in obtaining our original certification in 1997)Direction and promotion of the company Quality Management System to ensure that the benefits of quality work and customer satisfaction are understood and embraced by all staff Direction of Project and Service department functions to ensure the timely completion of customer orders and service contractsManagement and control of company CIT systems to ensure that all equipment and software including servers, applications and communications are continuously available, backed-up and up to date.Evaluation of new CIT applications and software that could be used to increase efficiency in the company’s working practices. Reporting strategic KPIs to Board for trend analysis and performance monitoring to ensure that the business plan criteria are being met.
