As a Federal Work Study I gain the experience of working with all types of welding equipment. I set up welding equipment for the students, and make sure machines are running ok. I even trouble shoot problems that make occur. I make sure things are stocked with correct equipment and keep up on inventory, then advise when more is needed. I also have been asked to help on making and desining things needed to be made around the shop.

My first job was in Paternity where we mainly tried to determine paternity of fathers, so Child Support could be started to be collected 1 year later I was transferred to Establishment here I accurately calculated amount owed to pay child support. Then I issued the orders for amounts owed and amounts to be paid, while working multiple cases at once. At times I worked with other states to coordinate their orders and Alaska’s orders, as well as with the Anchorage, and Alaska Court System.
