As President of New Jersey Galvanizing and Tinning Works, I manage all phases of operations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: long-term planning, capital improvements, budgeting, and personnel with a special emphasis on gearing up for the largest galvanizing project in the history of our nation, the new Tappan Zee Bridge.In addition to New Jersey Galvanizing, we acquired Nicholas Galvanizing, which had recently ceased operations, in 1997. Nicholas specializes in smaller fastener and threaded products, and has gained a reputation of excellence throughout the industry. I was selected by the International Zinc Association to expand the market for hot dip galvanizing in India. I spent ten days lecturing to specifying engineers and architects on the benefits and utility of hot dip galvanizing.Prior to embarking on my career at New Jersey Galvanizing, I was supervisor of nationwide field advertising operations which involved test marketing and the introduction of new products for Proctor and Gamble.
