I am very excited to be starting my professional career as an audiologist this summer and begin to make a direct impact in people's lives that struggle with their hearing or balance. I will be receiving my doctor of audiology degree this June 2020 from A.T. Still University. I have had great clinical experiences with an emphasis in working with pediatrics as I completed my clinical externship at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. This opportunity provided me ample experience in pediatric diagnostics and auditory intervention that I feel has greatly prepared me to start my career. My interest and passion in audiology began on a personal level as I have acquired a profound unilateral hearing loss that has provided me extensive firsthand knowledge and experience of hearing loss and rehabilitation. Before my graduate studies, I was fortunate to work at a highly-esteemed restaurant in downtown Minneapolis that allowed me to develop strong customer service, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. A few of my favorite volunteer experiences have involved spending time with patients at Children's Hospital of MN, helping with the Special Olympics of AZ, and coaching youth athletics with the Irondale Youth Hockey Association and White Bear Lake Youth Lacrosse Association.
