About Bobby Davidson
My name is Bobby Davidson (pronouns he/him/his). I began my post-secondary career at BCIT in September 2020 and am currently pursuing the completion of the Business Administration Diploma (General Option). As I study to complete my credential part-time, I work a day job as a part-time Cashier at Whole Foods and consider myself an involved member of the greater BCIT community through serving in multiple student elected/appointed roles. After the completion of my BA diploma, I intend to enroll in the Bachelor of Business Administration at BCIT and continue to serve fellow students. I aspire to obtain full-time occupation in the future such as a Business Analyst position. Interest in student, Canada, and US politics also has me curious about political service. In my leisure time, I enjoy cycling along the Vancouver seawall, flying my drone (from BCIT's RPAS microcredential program!), video gaming, streaming shows/movies, and hanging out with friends - usual activities consist of Ramen Danbo ramen, shopping for snacks and swag, then 8-ball and games at The Rec Room.I am serving my third consecutive elected term on BCIT's Education Council as of June 1st, 2024, and until May 31st, 2025.Member of EdCo Policy Committee (and formerly Education Technology Learning and Design or ETLDC)I am serving my first elected term on BCIT's Board of Governors (BoG) as of April 4, 2024, and until May 31st, 2025. I am the Student Representative Governor, serving alongside the Student Association President Governor (BCITSA President).I have been appointed by the Chair, School of Business + Media at the BCIT Student Association to serve as a Councillor for Business + Media students until Council ends May 31st, 2025. Although I am applicable to all BCIT students through my other roles.
