Experienced leader with a "Community Oriented Policing" philosophy that focuses on developing relationships with community members. I follow this methodology because of my 30+ years in policing and I am confident law enforcement, and the public working together will make the world a safer place for all.I have spent a great deal of my time as a Police Officer and Supervisor. I am very knowledgeable about personal and residential security and enjoy sharing that knowledge with the public to keep them safe. I have also taken pleasure as an FTO and sharing my vast experience, both mistakes and successes, but mostly advising them to plan for retirement now.Throughout the last 30+ years, I have worked in several areas of law enforcement from patrol to administration. In my tenure at Collin College, I have enjoyed spearheading some of the department's special events (i.e., Plano Balloon Festival 90,000+ attendees). I have been responsible for the personal protection of several high-profile people both on (i.e., Donald Rumsfeld, Herschel Walker, Rick Perry, and Carly Fiorina) and off campus (David Beckham, Jimmy Buffet, and Metallica Concerts). I love being a police officer and after three decades, I still look out for the helpless and weak.
