Supervise a staff of mechanical maintenance employees in the preventive and corrective maintenance of a coal fired power plant. Planning and scheduling. Fleet vehicle service and repair. Safety committee volunteer. Schedule and supervise outside contractors on misc projects. Interact with vendors and suppliers on a daily basis.

Supervise the mechanical maintenance department employees in making repairs and performing breakdown maintenance on equipment found in a coal fired electrical generating facility. Planning and scheduling of maintenance work using the companies CMMS program.

Currently work is associated with the start up of a manufacturing facility. Some new and mostly used refurbished equipment. Still involved in a lot of production start up activities with an emphasis on mechanical reliability.

Managed multiple skilled trades groups on the preventive and routine maintenance of over 3,000 different pieces of equipment that you would normally find in a 150 million gallon a year ethanol facility that was powered by 2 coal boilers and 2 gas boilers. Managed labor groups in the maintenance and repair of all plant mobile equipment to include warehouse and receiving functions. Worked closely with the CMMS creating and implementing PM's, writing work orders and scheduling maintenance activities.

Supervised production employees in an ethanol manufacturing plant. Responsibilities included, hourly employee scheduling, quality control, implementing safe work practices, coordinating maintenance activities on the off shifts if breakdowns were to occur, record keeping,

Managed an industrial plate and frame heat exchanger service center. Maintained a high level of safety and product quality through detailed training programs and awareness. Monitored misc sources of emissions and immediatley took corrective actions in order to comply with local EPA regulations. Maintained good working relations with all customers over the phone and in person. Was responsible for all phases of starting this plant from the ground up. This included hiring of all employees, plant construction, vendor relations, understanding and following local and state regulations, on site service, plant maintenance, inventory control, customer relations, employee training, and many other responsibilities associated with a new and growing business.

Monitored plant preventive maintenance programs, and implemented new cost savings techniques that saved the company over $100,000.00 in my first year. Helped managed and direct a workforce of 18 maintenance employees in the repair and PM of a 100 million gallon a year ethanol/beverage plant. Worked with vendors scheduling work and maintaining misc plant inventories.

Worked as the only 2nd shift maintenance employee, and was responsible for repairing any production equipment breakdowns. Monitored equipment performance and conducted preventive maintenance throughout the plant. Served on the safety committee and sanitation committee.

Trained in and operated almost every department in an ethanol facility. Was a member of the safety and sanitation committee. Helped develope and implement the computer program that ran the starch department, and was instrumental in training all new employees in several different departments.
