In my current role, I am contributing to continuous improvement efforts while managing and improving 29 business priority processes within consumer banking to put controls in place to reduce consumer harm. I am also providing strategic direction in implementing new procedures, and standards-based on data collection through process mapping, SIPOC, FMEA, process improvement events, and lean tools coaching. I am facilitating the business in reducing non-value-added activities by using structured problem solving for three value streams.I have made some key contributions including:• Successfully managed 29 high-priority business regulatory projects putting controls in place and reducing consumer risk resulting in $13.3M in financial savings.• Provided extensive support in visualizing the flow of work and solving problems around blocked initiatives by utilizing Kanban methodology.• Coached and mentored 32 teams to identify waste/deficiencies within the processes, including implementing solutions and solving problems.• Improved employees' skills in lean tools and principles to evolve the Lean culture across the value streams by developing and implementing skills and training matrix to provide extra developmental workshops as needed.• Analyzed internal business processes and recommended changes for improvements using the VSM tool.• Optimized project efficiency and repeatability by developing and implementing a formal checklist for project managers, process owners, and lean coaches.• Delivered improved visibility in the development of a project management tool for PCA projects to assess the project health and ensure the project delivery on time.• Spearheaded and delivered multi-day training courses involving lean tools and principles by developing lean training material.

Oversaw value stream of 5-story, 270,000 sq. ft. facility that produced over 32million pounds of liquid chocolate annually while leading a team of 6 supervisors, 4 shift leads, and 85 machine operators over 3 shifts. Delivered expert advice and guidance in the development and implementation of corrective action plans by identifying problems and reviewing performance standards with the supervisory team.I have made some key contributions including:• Reduced sugar railcar demurrage charges by 90% in 5 months by rebuilding the relationship with railroad servicing yard.• Spearheaded the execution of continuous improvement initiatives to implement Leader Standard Work and Operator Standard Work.• Achieved manufacturing objective meeting customer expectations by developing departmental budgets, reading and analyzing metrics, and coordinating plant activities.• Successfully improved and implemented lean processes resulting in reducing overall chocolate waste from 2.1 million pounds to 610,000 pounds in 10 months.• Ensured the visibility of all communication and areas for improvement to all by developing and implementing daily management system department Kanban and metric boards.• Reduced machine downtime by 25% by having machine operators complete daily visual PMs to escalate issues right away to maintenance.• Eliminated waste in the overall supply chain from start to finish and ensured completion of products on time and according to requirements while working collaboratively with engineering, maintenance, safety, and quality. • Implemented lean tools and procedures while leading day-to-day activities within the value stream atmosphere to minimize process variation.

Provided extensive support in the development of the continuous improvement department and the lean roadmap to influence a cultural change. Led, coached and mentored 10 Lean Practitioner team members. Spearheaded evaluation of operational performance and quality issue resolution at TTX-FMO locations.
