On larger projects the concepts, principles, and practices of mechanical engineering, are required to serve as an expert in developing specifications, design criteria, make surveys, studies, develop special reports, and briefings, covering the preliminary planning state through project completion. As a [COR] Contracting Officers Representative the responsibility of managing the [IDIQ] indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contracts for [A/E] architectural / engineering design work, outlined in the scope of work, includes submission review, organization of other division oversight comments (Safety, Environmental, ATFP, etc.) and invoicing approval through [WAWF] wide area workflow on-line program. The job description states that the incumbent is typically assigned difficult projects that require innovative solutions. He also serves as a technical advisor to lower grade engineers. -
