BIOG. Robert (Bob) DonaldsonFor over 35 years, Bob Donaldson has been active in the commercial and residential Indianapolis Real Estate and construction community. After receiving his BS degree in real estate and finance from Indiana University’s School of Business (now the Kelly School of Business), he entered the industry as a project manager for a newly formed development and construction company.Since then, he has led operations and held ownership positions as President and Executive Vice President for three prominent Indiana-based companies. He is President of G.R. Donaldson, LLC, and and owner of Donaldson’s Finer Chocolates. Bob is a licensed Indiana Broker and holds the designation of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). He has experience with commercial projects involving retail, office, industrial, medical, hospitality (hotels), and multi-family type uses.In the residential area, he led one of the premier land development companies in central Indiana and has been responsible for operations in three (3) custom/estate homebuilding companies. These companies focused on providing some of the premier custom neighborhoods in the central Indiana market.Bob is an active member in the community and church. He is member of the Indianapolis Rotary Club, past president and member of the Zionsville Optimist Club, a Lacy Leadership Alumni, a board member with TAB Community Services, Inc., and a member of Tabernacle Presbyterian Church where he has served as an Elder and Building Trustee.Since 1977, Bob has been involved with the following types of Real Estate ventures:• Retail• Office• Industrial• Hotel• Historic Restoration• Multifamily• Land Development• Custom and Estate Residences
