Growing up I was a car guy who raced stock cars. I put myself through college repairing & selling cars. In addition to my tech ventures, I now have time for several motorsport projects:Partner in Hackel #97 Modified Race Team. 2016 was a breakout year. We won 7 of 14 races on the way to a NASCAR Sanctioned Dirt Modified Championship at Devils Bowl Speedway in VT. Since then we've won another championship and a couple of races each year. In 2024 we will be running weekly at Utica Rome and Fonda Speedways and many Series races at tracks from Florida to NY.KillerCrate Racing Engines. Our Hot new eCommerce startup is now 7 years old and a leader in Race-ready Performance Crate Engines for stock car teams in the Crate Engine Divisions of tracks in the Northeast. We design several of our own products and sell across the USA, Canada and Australia. Using Sales and Marketing over Facebook, this successful venture provides a revenue stream for the Race Team and keeps us connected to the racing community. Full Throttle R/C Raceway. --> SOLD IN JANUARY 2022Built the largest indoor Dirt Oval and Dirt Off-road facility on the east coast for Radio Control (R/C) racers. We held both weekly club races and national mega-events for R/C racers of all ages. After 8 years, I found the perfect family to carry on the Full Throttle Legacy!68 Camaro Pro-touring Restomod. After a 6 year build, My Project ENTARO (Entrepreneur + Camaro) is on the road and turns heads at several Special Car Shows. It is a complete ground-up, one-of-a-kind 68 Camaro that will feature today’s technology in a classic muscle car body. Every nut-and-bolt is new or restored. With lots of custom body mods, it features an LS3 Engine conversion, T56 6 speed transmission, custom front and rear coil-over suspension, 18’ custom wheels, hand built interior and unbelievable paint. While the plan is for the car to be driven, it’s also taken awards in craftsmanship, peoples choice, and best in show!

From My earliest days, I was always interested in Race Cars, it's probably why I became such a competitive business executive. Whether is was the slot cars I played with as a kid, the pinewood derby in scouts or finally building a stock car at 18 to race at a local track - I loved the thrill of competition and the friendships I made along the way. For years, I've raced RC Cars and always loved it, so I bought a 25,000 sq ft warehouse and turned it into the largest dirt oval and off-road RC facility in the Northeast where RC Community can come and have fun. We feature weekly racing for the Novice to the Pro and have held several National Events; attracting racers from Alabama, TN, NC, PA, DE, CT, NH, MA,and all all over upstate NY.EXIT: After 8 years we found the right family to buy Full Throttle Raceway, take over the business and carry on the Full Throttle Legacy into the future.

People, Product, Process and Planning. The most interesting lesson I learned while coaching, is that the same core business principals can drive success in all types of business. Every company needs a shared vision, a plan to get there, goals to shoot for, a way to measure against these goals, a competitive strategy, a clear understanding of how to best use their resources, and most importantly, to execute and perform against the plan. An Executive coach is much like a coach on a sports team. We work to get the best out of the leadership team, grow their skill set, and put them in a position to succeed. Great executive coaches don't do the work! My specialty is tapping into a CEO’s passion to get things done, listen a lot, ask questions and then help the CEO focus on what's important.Sometimes it's hard, but I always try to make sure that any critique is done in a way that the executive will take to heart. I have to build a very strong bond of trust where they can talk about anything and everything in the business - One CEO told me I'm part teacher, part cheerleader and part therapist!

I started PowerAdz in 1995 (later known as PowerOne Media). We created the private labeled engine powering more than 1800 online newspapers and dominated the online classifieds for daily and weekly newspapers throughout the late 90s. EXIT: PowerOne successfully sold off the 5 product lines to leading newspaper chains. They are still in use today.

Founding partner in a seed stage venture fund and CAPCO. I managed investment decisions and a portfolio in the Greater Albany NY Region. EXIT: Our fund was acquired by public company Newtek in 2000. I used the money from the sale to start Autotask.

Image Systems was the first company to create a way to put paper drawings on a PC for Architects and Engineers. Our product, CAD Overlay, became the industry standard drawing conversion tool as we built partnerships with AutoCAD resellers all over the world. EXIT: We bootstrapped the company without investment and In 1993, we sold it to SoftDesk, a public company that was later also acquired by Autodesk.
