Bob Kiser, is a successful author, speaker, coach, mediator and creator of the “Education, Simulation, Integration (ESI) Training Program. As an author, he has published numerous articles and blogs. Bob’s book "Create the Life of Your Dreams" empowers readers to discover their authentic selves and to start living their best possible life. In his quick-paced book, he gives exercises that have brought him and his clients the most success. These exercises especially address feeling stuck, being unmotivated and wanting to give up. As a speaker, Bob has been in front of numerous national and international audiences. He is known for his highly interactive presentations that leave audiences charged and motivated. He also conducts workshops for smaller groups on more specific obstacles. Motivation, fear-busting and conflict resolution are just a few of his most popular topics. Having been an actor, Bob is completely comfortable speaking to large groups or appearing in front of the camera.As a leadership coach, his main areas of focus are interpersonal/relationship building for the engaged leader and navigating conflict within a team. As a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator, currently Bob serves as the Associate Director of The Simulation and Integrative Learning Institute in the Department of Medical Education at the University of Illinois at Chicago and is in charge of its daily operations. The center provides simulated experiences for healthcare students and residents that focus on communication and interpersonal skill building. He oversees 13 fulltime employees as well as 155+ episodic workers. Bob is a primary instructor for SAIL’s Standardized Patient Certificate Program. He also teaches a module on conflict resolution and difficult conversations for UIC’s Department of Medical Education’s Masters in Patient Leadership. He is a mediator for UIC through the Office of Access and Equity, focusing on workplace conflict resolution. Bob is available for speaking engagements, freelance coaching, workshop facilitation and mediation/conflict resolution projects.
