I am a partner in a medium sized law firm with 28 attorneys in 2 offices. Before starting my civilian law practice, I spent 3 years on active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps. The majority of that time was spent at Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps in Washington, D.C. during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. I continued to serve in the Reserves until retiring in June 2011 as a Lieutenant Colonel.In 2010 I was elected to the Board of Directors for DuPage County, a County of 930,000 people. I served as Chairman of the Health and Human Services Committee, and then as Chair of the Finance Committee, before leaving the Board in 2020. I also served as a member of the Board of Health for DuPage County from 2012-2020.Specialties: I focus on litigation defense, with a special interest in appeals, medical and dental malpractice defense, and bad faith litigation.
