Key Accomplishments:• Built a web service to allow ASP.NET applications to access an approval management system, which had been constructed using the Microsoft Enterprise Library 1.1, and was not accessible to ASP.NET 2.0 applications. This saved approximately 200 man hours of time required to rewrite the system. Worked with ASP.NET and VB.NET.• Developed a web application to allow loan officers to request credits for borrowers. Loan data was retrieved from a database using a web service and then saved to a separate database, along with credit amounts. An email was then routed to the loan officer's manager, alerting them to the presence of the request, and allowing them to approve or deny it before it was processed. This saved over five hours of administrative work per request. Developed with ASP.NET, VB.NET, SQL Server tables and stored procedures (DDL/DQL/DML/TCL).• Constructed a system to handle customer privacy preferences. Data was loaded into the database manually using a web page, as well as through a nightly scheduled task that downloaded a third-party file from an SFTP site. The collected data was then transmitted to a third-party vendor, using a nightly scheduled task. The results of the transmission were recorded in the database for reporting purposes.
