I started my IT career as a Customer Support specialist and Database/Systems Administrator. As well as maintaining, installing and upgrading servers and PC desktop computers for Marriott Distribution Services (now out of business), I also took calls from customers after a front-line helpdesk was unable to help.I then switched focus and moved into the web application development arena when I joined Zurich North America. At Zurich I developed web applications primarily using Lotus Notes/Domino with a bit of Microsoft's .NET technologies thrown in. At Zurich I was part of the team who developed a major online policy writing system and the Zurich North America corporate web site.My latest role with KeyLogic Systems, Inc, a federal government contractor, involves application development for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. I am a lead developer on the agency's Budget Formulation System where I designed, developed and implemented the web based application's security model. In the past I used my skills as a Lotus Notes Developer to create applications for EPA. I still support some remaining Notes applications, but no new development is currently happening. I also work on other web-based application projects for well-known corporate clients. I also started developing iOS applications for KeyLogic including an app called Kill-Ur-Watts; an app to track your GreenButton energy usage data. Unfortunately, the app is retired and no longer available on the AppStore. As a side hobby, I developed and app called FirearmSafe (http://www.firearmsafeapp.com/). I hope to continue to grow my iOS development expertise and expand into multi-platform mobile development using MS Visual Studio and Xamarin.Specialties: Web Development using Microsoft technologies (MVC, C#, ASP.NET, etc), MS SQL Server, iOS Development using C# in MS Visual Studio/Xamarin, Lotus Notes Application Development, Server Configuration and Installation, Systems Analysis, Customer Service.
