James Madison University double graduate. B.S. in Computer Science with concentrations in Artificial Intelligence and Information Security, and a Mathematics Minor. M.S. in Computer Science with a concentration in Information Security. In the past, I worked as an international English teacher for Atlan Education and Co. in Urumqi, China. I taught 12 beginner and advanced level classes with roughly ten students per class. Additionally, I worked as a programming and robotics counselor for TIC, a summer camp for children focused on teaching the fundamentals of technology balanced by sports. I saw this as a window of opportunity to inspire our future generation on the importance of technology.During my undergraduate studies, I worked for JMU Computing Labs as a Mirco-Computing Lab Consultant. I helped students and faculty with technical issues at computer labs across campus. I also worked as a Growth Marketing Intern for JoyRun, a startup specializing in delivering food to college students run by college students, to develop their presence on JMU’s campus. After my junior year, I worked for Siemens Government Technologies as a Cyber Security Intern, where I learned to use security tools for government compliance needs.After my undergraduate studies, I worked as a full-stack Software Engineer for Ethos Group, an information technology company specializing in building finance and insurance tools for automotive dealerships, using C#/.NET, Angular, and other modern technologies. Afterwards, I worked for SharpEcho, a consulting and custom software development company, as a Sr. Software Engineer. I currently work for Elite Source Solutions as a Software Engineer. Throughout this time, until graduation in May 2022, I attended graduate school part-time pursuing an M.S. in Computer Science at James Madison University under the InfoSec department.
