Bob Sheridan leads the Center for Career Education and Professional Development (CEPD) at the David Nazarian College of Business and Economics at CSUN – a top-50 business college, within a public university of 41,000. He brings 35 years of executive experience in corporate, entrepreneurial, and family-controlled businesses to the mission of preparing a multi-cultural student body for digital transformation and the workforce of the future. Bob's corporate career began in large-scale commercial real estate development with the Beacon Companies, where he led the effort to secure redevelopment rights to Boston's historic South Station. He later joined the Raymond Group, the principal developer of the Charlestown Navy Yard on the city’s waterfront, where he led marketing and operations for an international investor group with more than $500 million of capital at risk. During the savings and loan crisis, he led a swat team to support capital calls, equity and debt restructurings and asset dispositions.In 1991, Bob joined the Employer Services Division of Fidelity Investments, where he designed and delivered financial services, employee benefits and HR BPO solutions for corporate and institutional clients around the globe. Over 14 years, he led various business units and initiatives - strategic marketing, operations and service delivery, institutional and corporate client relations for the Western US, and trans-border deal development, M&A and post-acquisition integration, including an ex-pat assignment for an IT asset with operations in France, Germany and Tunisia. Before joining the Nazarian College in 2015, Bob spent a decade privately developing, advising, and investing in start-ups and family-owned firms in varied industries. He focused on capital formation, business development, client relations and workforce strategy.
