I am currently leading the Psychological Safety program for the World Bank Group - to date involving 200 teams and over 4000 staff members and consultants. Using Leader Factor’s Four Stages framework (Dr. Timothy Clark), the Program builds team effectiveness and organizational culture through enhanced inclusion, learning, contribution, and innovation. I also teach courses in positive influence, critical thinking, and intercultural competence, and have experience facilitating team workshops in Austria, Serbia, Egypt, Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda, Thailand, Peru, and Vietnam, as well as extensive experience as a virtual trainer. I currently live in British Columbia, Canada with my wife, Gina.

Designing learning for the professional development of World Bank Group staff (HRDLS), and train staff to develop influence and critical thinking skills.

I consulted as education technologist on projects developed for a variety of organizations, including the World Health Organization, UNICEF, the International Labour Organization, and the Commonwealth Secretariat. I create courses that are intuitive, engaging, and adhere to the standards of universal design.

I am responsible for the development of educational media that engages students. My major accomplishments at TRU have included the development of a streaming media solution for on-line courses, implementing live video streaming for convocation and other major events, and developing and implementing a strategy to ensure our educational media works on all major computer platforms.I also work with faculty to develop their potential to use educational media effectively.

My primary role was in the development of on-line courses offered by BCIT, the development of multimedia to enhance curriculum and engage students, and faculty development in the effective use of educational media. I also taught courses in web design, educational multimedia, and technology for trades.A major accomplishment was receiving the AMTEC Award of Excellence for educational multimedia.

With the Program Director, I was responsible for the development and start-up of a new graduate Certificate Program in eBusiness. My major roles included instructional design, curriculum development, project management, and work-term placements. I also instructed courses in computer networks and web design.

I coordinated the development and delivery of two university certificate programs and a professional seminar series in technology, engineering, and computing. My involvement included instructional design, project management, and budget management.I also taught courses in technology for business students.

I developed and taught English language classes to Japanese professionals and university students. I also directed the day-to-day operation of the school.
