Bob has been active in many aspects of the financial industry and the community for over thirty years. Currently Bob has founded and heads up Skellig Capital Advisors, an independent capital markets financial advisory firm that advises established companies pursuing: a) the sale of all or a part of the business, b) the acquisition of strategic business, or c) growth or recapitalization capital. We bring decades of experience and expertise to Midwestern companies with enterprise values of $25 million to $1 billion or more. Prior to Skellig, Bob founded and headed up an investment banking division at two regional firms, Noyes (7 yrs) and City Securities (14 yrs). The focus of both firms was similar to that of Skellig. Prior to this, for 6 years he headed and re-engineered the Indiana Housing Finance Authority (a $1bn 'bank' where he brought more than $750mm complex taxable and tax-exempt fixed income financings to the public markets, helped to facilitate the development of billions of dollars worth of apartment developments, and engineered indenture and general obligation ratings upgrades from the major debt rating agencies). Prior to this, he was a commercial lender at Continental Bank (3 years) and on the finance team of Delta Faucet Company (2 yrs). Bob is an Indianapolis native and holds an MBA from Indiana University and a BBA (finance) from the University of Notre Dame where he was a walk-on football player. Bob holds a Series 7, 63, and 24. He is and has been active with many community organizations, serving on the boards of the Indiana Public Employees Retirement Fund, the Indiana Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (chair), Cathedral High School (treasurer), the Indianapolis Private Industry Council (chair), the Indianapolis Neighborhood Housing Partnership, the Athletic Club Foundation (chair), and the Penrod Arts Fair (past president). He currently serves on several corporate boards and he and his wife have four children.
