With over 10 years of experience in higher education, I am a passionate and dedicated leader who strives to improve student outcomes and success. As the director of MyDegree, the degree audit system at Ferris State University, I oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the system, and chair the MyDegree Advisory Board. I am also pursuing my Doctor of Education degree in Community College Leadership, with a focus on enhancing student retention and completion rates. I value collaboration, innovation, and diversity, and I aim to leverage my skills and knowledge to support the mission and vision of Ferris State University and its students.In my current role as the director of MyDegree, I manage system upgrades, user access requests, curriculum proposals, and system accuracy. I also develop training materials for various user groups, including students, advisors, and deans, and represent MyDegree on several University leadership and administrative councils. In addition, I have contributed to the implementation of the University's new general education policy and the development of a process to auto-graduate students whose degree audit is at 100%. Through these initiatives, I have demonstrated my proficiency in communication, project management, and business intelligence skills.
