My professional experiences have included (in addition to 25 years of consultative infectious diseases) 4 years as a GP in rural South Carolina, 5 years as an Emergency Physician in California, Georgia, and at the University of Florida, and as a Diplomate in Tropical Medicine. While maintaining my dedication to excellent patient care, I have been instrumental in creating multiple successful Antibiotic Stewardship Programs, a major interest for > 20 years. Additionally, I recently created and sold a medical digital signature company. My current project is SmartSteward, Inc., an innovative decision support, educational, and heuristic software for rationalization of antibiotic misuse, automated infection control, and the control of resistant organisms in the medical environment. http://antibioticadjuvant.com/
