I have a passion for education. I am a qualified secondary school educator with a focus in Technology Studies that include wood furniture construction, welding and sheetmetal fabrication, simple electronic circuits and designs, with my main area of interest Computer Aided Design and 3D Printing.I believe that if we educate and empower our children today with these technical and practical skills, it will enable them with life long skills and interpersonal confidence to be 'critical thinkers' and problem solve world issues that are still yet to be identified.Additional to this, I am an avid outdoors person with a passion around water. Providing Kayaking, fishing experiences for children who do not have access to such activities due to home circumstances, as well as hiking in nature and bicycle riding along tracks, enables children to develop life learning skills in the greater world of nature, developing a balance between living the natural experiences of life and possibly using this knowledge and experience into design and manufacture for the future.
