As an Account Executive, my focus is on driving business growth by combining an understanding of the commercial ecosystem with the technical capabilities of our product. That translates into prospecting efforts and conducting product walkthroughs to shorten the time to value for our customers. Additionally, by diving into our data, I identify segments and opportunities ripe for expansion and create relevant sales playbooks that future reps can follow.

Assimilated the role of Commercial-IoT Connectivity Consultant, during which time I strengthened my abilities to analyse customer journeys and interpret data to derive actionable insights for stakeholders. For example, by developing a multi-year IoT device deployment plan in accordance with budget, cash flow optimisation and specific technological requirements. Additionally, there was a continuous effort to monitor key metrics and assess performance to identify areas for improvement within the team in conjunction with gathering market intelligence to inform strategic decisions.

As co-founder and CEO of an impact start-up, and apart from leading a team of 7, I had the opportunity to handle key responsibilities for our business including: (1) Developing and implementing a go-to-market strategy, encompassing a B2C subscription-based offering in Denmark and a B2B2C revenue stream in the retail sector for two markets, Denmark and Finland. (2) The E-commerce solution and website development, ensuring adherence to security best practices and compliance with the GDPR guidelines on data protection and privacy. (3) Accounting, Tax Reporting, Financial management & modelling. During two and a half years and as part of the CSE programme, hosted and administered by CBS, our product and business model were awarded several winning prizes in entrepreneurial competitions such as the Danish Championship in entrepreneurship (GreenTech category).

Whilst working for Brøchner Hotels, I had the unique opportunity to be part of the team that “opened” Hotel Herman K- and what an experience that was. With a steep learning curve, the job required thinking on your feet, assuming responsibility, and taking initiative on a daily basis. Under the guidance of our amazing hotel manager, Lise Egenius, the team was able to create and deliver a unique 5* experience.
